Oh hey there, I’m Shannon!
I’m a wedding photographer on the Gold Coast, Australia & creative director/woman behind the camera of Rénue.

I have worked seven incredible years in the wedding industry, building photography brands, working with the best in the industry & getting to use my creative mind to create beautiful bodies of work.

During this time, I’ve gained invaluable experience in photography, video editing, wedding planning, coordinating, styling, directing incredible photo shoots with some of Australia's industry elite featured in British Vogue, and collaborating with so many incredible couples in the lead-up to their big day.

I have always had such a heart for marriage & weddings are just the beginning of that!

I struggle to not be a crying mess at wedding ceremonies, because it is honestly the best bit of your day… “for better, for worse”,. It can’t get much more raw & meaningful than that.

I love attending to the small details of your day, holding your bouquet, telling you to go take 5 minutes alone, reminding you to roll your shoulders back & to take a big breath before you walk down the aisle, while also having a big laugh with you as the day goes on!

Things that make me me!
- I love 60s rock and roll.
- My personality in my favourite outfit is a vintage Rolling Stones tour shirt (that I unfortunately lost) paired with high wasted denim jeans.
- This girl knows how to work hard
- I’m pretty sure I was born 10 years too late
- I live to dance with my little girl
- My faith is everything to me…

I get to capture people on the most meaningful day of their lives and saying some of the most meaningful words of your life to one another. And yes, you will always find me with watery eyes as you say “I do”, but I also I love getting my couples to feel like themselves, enjoy every moment together, have a so much fun and feel their absolute best while I create dreamy, warm, elegant images, that display your authentic, raw emotions.
